Les suédois de PAIN OF SALVATION sortiront leur nouvel album studio « Panther » le 28 août prochain via InsideOut. Il comportera 9 titres. Cet album suit « In The Passing Light Of Day » sorti en 2017. Il a été enregistré, mixé et produit par Daniel Gildenlöw, avec Daniel Bergstrand (IN FLAMES, MESHUGGAH, DEVIN TOWNSEND).
Line-up : Daniel Gildenlöw (Lead Chant), Johan Hallgren (guitare, chant), Léo Margarit (batterie, chant), Daniel Karlsson (claviers, guitare, chant).
Le bassiste et back singer Gustaf Hielm a annoncé son départ du groupe pour « se concentrer » sur lui.
« We totally understand and support Gustaf all the way in his decision, although we are immeasurably sad to see him go. However, his wellbeing is most important for us. Gustaf is an amazing bass player and musician, and a great friend, and he will be sorely missed on every occasion when he is not with us.
Although we have been aware of this situation since last fall, we have not looked into finding a replacement yet, but will see what the future brings. We have simply focused on digesting this loss and finishing the work on PANTHER. Love to Gustaf, and love to our fans. Our tribe. »
