Le chanteur et musicien américain originaire de Seattle Mark Lanegan, connu pour avoir fait partie des groupes Screaming Trees, Mad Season et Queens of the Stone Age, est décédé le 22 février 2022 à l’âge de 57 ans.
Il a également formé le quatuor THE JURY en 1989 avec Kurt Cobain, projet n’ayant jamais abouti à la réalisation d’un album.
L’annonce a été faite par ses proches sur Twitter : « Our beloved friend Mark Lanegan passed away this morning at his home in Killarney, Ireland. A beloved singer, songwriter, author and musician he was 57 and is survived by his wife Shelley. No other information is available at this time. We ask Please respect the family privacy ».
